Why Mind-Body Practices

Going beyond the norm to realize more of your potential, requires a shift in your mindset and state of being.  It’s a multi-faceted process. So why not use multi-dimensional mind-body practices which are designed to facilitate personal development and transformation?

Mind-body practices arise from spiritual traditions whose purpose is to explore the human spirit and provide a path for personal growth. Spiritual seekers spent countless hours going within to explore their inner working. Techniques for transforming the mind, body, and spirit were cultivated and refined over centuries.

Over time, a spiritual science emerged that captured their knowledge of our inner design and mind-body techniques to affect and activate our inner resources. These techniques like yoga, meditation, tai chi, and acupuncture to name a few are increasingly being used today.

At Transform the Norm, we believe that mind-body practices offer powerful tools for personal development which can help unlock your vast potential for joy, health, vitality, and meaning. We teach people the art and science of mind-body techniques and how to apply them in practical ways in their everyday lives.

T3 Process

We can affect great change around us by learning how to navigate our inner terrain. The thing is most of us are so focused on the world around us we are not tending to our inner world. So too often we keep waiting on the world to change, not realizing that we have the power within us to transform the norm and create the life we want.  We teach people how to  tune in and activate their inner potential using our T3 process: Tune in, Turn On, Transform.

 

Tune In

Thanks to technology, the world is far more connected. Yet it seems like we’re becoming less connected to ourselves. With constant bids for our attention, it’s harder to tune the world out and tune in to ourselves. So we are increasingly reliant on external sources for affirmation and guidance. How do you become self-empowered when your sense of self, direction and worth is largely determined by others?

We empower people by teaching meditation, qi gong, yoga and other mind-body techniques that enable them to understand their inner design and tap into their inner resources like resilience, creativity, self-awareness, focus and peace.

 

Turn On

Turning on is about using mind body practices to activate your inner resources so you can apply them in meaningful, intentional ways in your life.  At Transform the Norm, we teach breathing techniques and energetic practices that empower people to cultivate personal power, increase energy, improve vitality, and get into ‘the zone’.

 

Transform

Developing a consistent practice of tuning in and activating your inner resources enables you to live your unlimited potential—which we call Live UP.
